Data Centre Interconnect (DCI)

As Singapore is one of the fastest-growing data centre hubs in Asia, and more and more international operators, Internet Service providers (ISP), Content Delivery Network (CDN) providers, Application providers and public cloud providers have been placed their servers and Transmission equipment into Data Centres in Singapore. The different data centres house computing and storage resources for various applications, data, and contents.

Cloud Telecom understand that customers inside Data Centres need to talk to each other—to share data, content and provide back-ups for redundancy. So, we provide Data Centre Interconnect (DCI) services connecting major data centres in Singapore and support various client network interfaces across a wide spectrum of bandwidths. With our programmable Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) platform, a fast and reliable connection in place to support both Ethernet-based and Optical Transport Network (OTN) – based connections, enable our customers easily share data and resources and balance workloads among the data centres to reduce network costs, increase bandwidth, and improve network performance and reliability.

Cloud Telecom’s DCI will help our customer easily connect to any content, cloud and application service providers located at other Data Centres, so customers don’t need to invest a lot of money in building a new data centre facility. With Cloud Telecom’s DCI, Customers are no longer restricted to a single data centre environment but are instead tapping into a flexible, fluid and intelligent networking model to create an interconnected fabric that grows with their future needs.

As most customers existing DCI links are still low bandwidth, Cloud telecom’s 1G/10G/100G/400G bandwidth DCI links will greatly improve customer’s connectivity, cost-effectiveness and user experience.
